Tenant Loyalty Program

·         Graduated program that rewards loyal tenants with slip discounts ranging from an average of 2.5% in early years of tenancy up to a maximum discount of 5% after 10 consecutive years of tenancy and AYC membership (see attached schedule)

·         Minimum annual discount: $50 for 26-foot slips and $100 all other size slips

·         If tenant either leaves Waukegan Harbor & Marina (WHM) or fails to renew their AYC Executive Membership, all discounts end and if they decide to return to WHM, they are charged full price for their slip rental

·         Discount only available for AYC Executive Membership Level

·         Discounts only apply to future slip leases, not ones already fully paid.

·         Discounts only apply to one slip per tenant, so for tenants with multiple slips, they will not receive a discount on second slip since they are already currently receiving a discount on second slip.

Reciprocity

·         All AYC members receive reciprocity at over 700 yacht clubs across the United States.  Privileges vary from club to club, but generally included access to club’s bar and restaurant, short term berthing while using their facilities, heads and showers.

Key Cards

·         All AYC members that currently do not have a key card will receive one, which will allow them access into the parking lot and the Harbor Control Building.  AYC membership dues must always be current or these cards will be deactivated. 

·         Boat owners who lease a slip in Waukegan Marina are not eligible since they already receive key cards as part of their lease agreement.
