Thank you for your interest in The Anchorage Yacht Club and the newly announced Waukegan Marina Yacht Club Benefits Program.

In the menu above you will find links to pages that explain the new program, membership benefits of AYC and a membership application.

Founded in 1928, our 95-year-old club moved its operations to Waukegan Marina over twenty years ago and currently has over 100 members of which 70 have slips in the marina. Benefits include reciprocity at over 700 yacht clubs across the US, $100 annual slip fee discounts, free key cards, three free patio parties and two member banquets.

If after reviewing the club benefits, you wish to apply for membership, please fill out the attached membership application and email it to:

membership@aycchicago.org

All new members are required to have their membership application sponsored by two current AYC members in good standing. If you already know an AYC member, please send his or her name along with the application and we will reach out to them and see if they would be willing to sponsor you. If you don’t know any current member, go ahead and submit the application anyway and we will try to find two sponsors for you. With over 100 AYC current members there is a pretty good chance that you know someone but don’t realize that they are members of our club.

After we find two sponsors, your application gets submitted to our board of directors for approval and must be approved by at least 75% of the board, at which point you will receive an invitation to join and instructions on how to pay your dues and receive your membership card.
